Storytelling
Styraki keeps it simple, yet meaningful. Each storyline revolves around the Styraki characters working together as they explore Earth Science phenomena including volcanoes, hurricanes, fossils, earthquakes, the water table, glaciers, and the lunar eclipse. The Styraki book contains 7 chapters, one for each day of the week. The adorable characters are perfect for your bedtime reading. The embedded science activities, are perfect for your more active times of the day.
Science Activities
Styraki and his cousins explore Earth Science phenomena. In doing so, they set the stage for an exciting and thought-provoking science activity at the end of each chapter, such as: plate tectonics in a hard-boiled egg, a tornado in a bottle, a volcano of baking soda and vinegar, pacing out the actual size of dinosaurs, visualizing water underground, floating icebergs, investigating sunspots and planets! Styraki activities are simple, safe, fun, and kid-tested. They are to be performed with an adult and child working together. Enjoy!

The Styraki figurines seen in these photos are handmade using silicon molds formed from original Sculpty clay figurines created by the author.
